Strawberry, banana and cherry acai bowl

Serves: 4 / Ready in: 15 mins / Difficulty: 2/5 / Storing: Best eaten fresh, can be stored in a sealed contain in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Ingredients

  • 2 packs Acai (I use The Rainforest Company - Bio Acai puree)

  • 6-8 Strawberries

  • 1 Banana

  • 100 ml Coconut milk

  • A sweetener like honey or syrup optional

Toppings per bowl

Method

Prepare the Acai, in a blender add banana, strawberries, coconut milk and Acai. As the Acai is frozen, I take it out of the freezer and let it warm slightly so I can break it into bits to add to the blender. Optional to add the sweetener in here. Blend until to a smooth texture.

Pour quarter into a bowl. Then top with the cherries, banana slices, sprinkle on chai seeds and granola. You can switch up the toppings to your liking, I often use up left over fruit. In the winter you can add dried fruit instead of fresh. I also like to add chopped nuts.

If you are storing it for another day, keep it sealed and in the coldest part of the fridge, for 2, max 3 days. Prepare the topping fresh each day.

Enjoy!
